It is funny how everything worked out. I remember when we were on our way to meet you at the Midpark house (you were representing) so we could take a look at it. Jeff and I have been “anti-realtor” from the beginning. We thought that by not using a realtor (when buying) we would get a better deal from the seller. We also thought that by not using a realtor we could save at least 3% when selling our house. You asked me “How long have you been looking? And, when do you plan to move?” I quickly replied with “we aren’t moving…we are just semi-starting to look”. We didn’t want to give you too much information because we didn’t want a realtor. After talking for a minute your knowledge and friendliness allowed us to let our guard down a little, and off we were, going to look at houses with you all day that Saturday.

It is crazy that within a month we bought our Sotherby home, and sold our Dallas home. We put our faith and trust in you as our realtor, and ended up with a win-win every which way you look at it. You have such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to your business. All the information you provided us from the comps to the general market conditions helped us make the decision to move. I would have never guessed that we could have afforded a Sotherby house in Murphy, especially in Rolling Ridge. After meeting you, we quickly realized we could have probably afforded 2 Sotherby homes in Murphy.

You know all the “behind the scenes” information that the general public could never know about these builders and how much they will negotiate to get a house sold. If it weren’t for you, we would have never even gone to look in Rolling Ridge.  Not only are you a fantastic realtor and business professional, but you are such a joy to be around. You made the whole process enjoyable. We never felt for one minute that you had anybody else’s best interest at heart. You were there for us every step of the way. You were supportive, honest and genuine. You are dedicated to your clients and it shows. You gave us 150% of your attention; thank you for that! Thank you for answering you phone at all hours of the night, and thank you for making our dog, Joey, a model on your website. Thank you so much, Joe, for everything! We are so glad that we found you. Buying a house and selling a house can be very stressful and most people hate it. I can honestly say that we had the most pleasant experience known to man, and we owe it all to you. Today’s market is changing slowly with the economy the way it is, and you helped us get exactly what we wanted in a new house at a price that was better than we anticipated. You also helped us get more money out of the sale of our current house. All within a month. You are amazing! Thank you so much."
